Network Synchronized Clocks for Your Facility

Whether you’re looking for synchronized clocks for a hospital, school, business, or other facility, explore Primex Sync™ IP/NTP for secure timekeeping.

Using an internet clock system/network clock system as a time source for your hospital, school, business, or facility ensures that all clocks within a building show the same, synchronous time.

Primex Sync solutions include four different technologies that provide synchronized timekeeping using IP/NTP as their time source, with two featuring wireless time synchronization and one featuring a wired connection. Those clock systems are:

Primex Sync Radio 72 MHz
Synchronized time is acquired through an NTP server and sent wirelessly to each network wall clock throughout a building or campus using a patented 72 MHz transmitter.A patented 72 MHz signal prevents interference and penetrates walls and floors

Primex Sync Bluetooth® Low Energy
A Primex Sync Bluetooth® Bridge communicates with cloud-based Primex software to acquire time through an NTP server before sending synchronized time wirelessly via Bluetooth® to every NTP wall clock throughout your building.Bluetooth® Low Energy creates a self-repairing mesh of synchronized wireless clocks

Primex Sync Wi-Fi
An internal NTP server wirelessly sends time to the Primex Sync Wi-Fi router, which transmits wireless time signal to keep all clocks within a building synchronized.

With an internal NTP server and Primex Sync Wi-Fi router, easily manage a variety of Primex Sync Wi-Fi clocks

Primex Sync Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Primex Sync PoE connects to your facility's IP network and acquires time data through an NTP server before sending time (and power) using new or existing cable runs to each ethernet clock within your facility.

Primex supports use of existing Power over Ethernet systems to provide synchronized time through the entire facility

If you’re looking for an NTP clock system, Primex Sync has the Network/IP clock system solutions for the smallest of community hospitals to multibuilding health systems. Similarly, an IP clock system from Primex Sync can provide synchronized time clocks for schools, from stand-alone rural schools to sprawling college campuses and universities. With any of these Primex time solutions, enjoy a variety of NTP analog or NTP digital wall clock options to find the perfect fit for your facility.

Primex provides support through four technologies to ensure effective installations.

Primex Sync enhances timeliness, eases maintenance with automatic daylight saving time changes, and can even guarantee synchronized time. What other internet wall clock system can say that?

Our patented, proven, and trusted technology rivals any master clock system used in hospitals or schools. Fill out the form below to find out for yourself and start your Primex jouney!

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Primex Sync synchronized time technology is best for my facility?

Primex Sync provides a variety of suitable wireless and wired options based on size, structure, and layout of your facility. Our knowledgeable staff can walk you through these options to determine the best fit for your specific use case.

Is an IP/NTP Synchronized Clock the same as a GPS master clock?
Primex Sync provides reliable time with sub-second accuracy. GPS clocks can have their accuracy measured in nanoseconds, but their signal requires a clear view of the sky and must be propagated through another method, reducing accuracy. All Primex Sync solutions can leverage NTP-acquired time to provide facilitywide synchronized time, with the option to leverage GPS time synchronization within our Radio 72 MHz solution.
How does Primex Sync integrate with my current network?
Our Radio 72 MHz solution is designed to be completely non-intrusive. It operates independently of your existing wireless networks, ensuring no bandwidth interference. Primex Sync Bluetooth® Low Energy, Wi-Fi, and PoE solutions require integration with your existing network to acquire NTP time.
  • "Of all the systems we looked at, we immediately knew that Primex Wireless was the best one for our needs, and they have not let us down. The system works great, and we loved the way it synchronizes through our existing network."

Georges Leconte, Associate Executive Director of Ancillary Services
    Elmhurst Hospital Center
  • “Our hospital campus is large, but the Primex clocks were still a breeze to install, especially since hardwiring wasn’t required”
